PC Tech is a monthly technology that focuses mainly on technology news, computers and gadgets, software and hardware component reviews, features on IT, Research & Education. Its mission is to publish East Africa's leading technology magazine with well researched, relevant and accurate information building a loyal readership in East Africa and beyond.
More importantly, PC Tech was founded with a vision of enhancing ICT education in Africa, considering that it is coming to a time when the economy fully relies on technology. To achieve this, the magazine is intended to carry our sensitization about ICT trends and threats, publishing technology related news, and features, and profiling people who have made it in the IT industry as a way of inspiring others who are looking to building similar careers.
For IT scholars, PC Tech publishes IT research news, information and publications. This section, named “research” in the magazine targets IT students both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. It has developed to be the most important part of the publication following a recent partnership with The ICT University, an American University that is committed to providing content for this section.
Generally, PC Tech magazine targets all ICT users/consumers, enthusiasts, students and researchers. With a frequently updated website, the PC Tech is set to be the key reference point for both individuals and organizations making key decisions, and doing ICT procurement.
The accumulated information will be used to create a Repository, whose development has already started, and is set to be launched in 2011.
